As of May 2016, The Town of New Tecumseth has signed an Agreement with the the Tottenham Airfield Corporation (TAC) allowing for the import of an unspecified volume of fill. OSRTF attended meetings and presented to council regarding what they deemed to be the many many weaknesses and dangers of the proposed Agreement and recommended Council not to accept it. Unfortunately Council approved the Agreement in April 2016-see story TAC site plan approved as final efforts to stall it fail, April 26, 2016 New Tecumseth Free Press on-line
